Why Filipinos haven't really developed any technology?

Filipinos are present-minded people; they barely think of the future. What's important to most of the Filipinos are their present situation and if what they are doing are not giving them any happiness or not seeing the fruits of their labor in a month or year, they'll give up.

One thing i remember is that there are things that we do that may not have significance at present but will be so much important in the future. So we should not feel discourage if there are things that others take importance to what we do [>> Read diary].
